I had a fantastic stay at this hotel on the harbor. The location was ideal for catching the morning ferry to Stockholm, just a short walk away. The fact that it was housed in an old ferry added to the unique and special atmosphere of the place. Another great aspect was the value for money - the prices were very reasonable and included basic amenities like tea and coffee in the rooms. The breakfast provided was also a pleasant surprise, with a variety of options including vegetarian choices.
No complaints, everything was fine during my stay.

Was very convenient right next to Viking ship docks. Also by castle and maritime museum. Easy bus trip into city for dinner.

I can highly recommend Laivahostel Borea. I needed a cheap stay for one night. The location to the Port where I was working was fantastic. I cannot speak more highly of the staff who were more than helpful and very friendly. The cleanliness was excellent and the cabin was perfectly adequate for my needs. The price was very good and I will be booking a room again next week when I have to return to Turku. Fantastic value for money.

The breakfast was outstanding and gluten-free cereals were available for us. I also appreciated the fact that the friendly staff were always happy to help us find the best bus to town. the location was key since it was close to the harbor and not far from downtown. there was ample parking space available.
The room was quite small, and we had bunk beds instead of twin beds, which made it uncomfortable to sit upright or move around. the basic equipment/furniture was missing, such as chairs, making it hard to work comfortably.

We had a fantastic time staying on an old small cruise ship. the location was perfect, just a short walk from the bus stop and very close to the castle. While it was a bit far from the city centre, we easily rented bikes and explored the area. the room and bathroom were clean and well-maintained, and the service was friendly and helpful. the breakfast buffet was tasty and there were plenty of options to choose from. We also enjoyed the cozy atmosphere of the cafeteria decks.
The air conditioning in the room was quite loud, which made it difficult to sleep.

Impressive from the outside, comfortable inside. We only stayed one night en-route to a festival so the Borea was perfect!

This hotel is ideally located at the harbour, making it perfect for a quick morning transfer to the ferries. It's also very close to the castle, which adds to the special atmosphere of staying in an old ferry. The staff here are attentive and the rooms have basic amenities, including tea and coffee facilities and a private bathroom. The breakfast included in the daily rates is great, especially for those with dietary restrictions as there are gluten-free cereals available.
All was great, nothing to complain about.

Nothing
There was no ventilation in the room. I felt like I was going down with Estonia. No possibillity of opening window. Worst experience ever. I will never go back. The place is filthy and not worth paying for.
